Coco peat, the natural fiber extracted from the outer husk of coconuts has evolved to become an excellent growing medium for a range of plants including flowers, vegetables, berries and cannabis. Coco coir is a 100% natural, bio-degradable, non-toxic and eco-friendly substrate that cause no harm for plants or the environment in usage. Out of the limited environmentally friendly growing medium options used in the world today, coco/coir is the only medium that is completely biodegradable that decay over time & enriches the soil. Coco coir is also a renewable resource. After the first harvest of peat moss, it takes years to reform a bog. Rockwool and Perlite that are sourced from volcanic rock are scarce. Coco coir can be indefinitely harvested from coconut trees & new trees can be planted making it an endless resource.

Sourcing quality raw materials from the rich coconut plantations in the island is our very first step in the quality enhanced production process. Raw materials that arrive at the factory floor undergo a series of quality checks by the Brown Grow quality department to weed out any impurities and conduct further tests on moisture content, pH & EC levels in order to ensure only the superior quality coir that meet quality standards are being used. Maintaining the quality of the raw materials is a major bottleneck of the production process to offer leading grow media products.
The production chain is tweaked and to work with maximum efficiency and maintain the consistency of the quality standards of each manufactured product. The water BrownGrow uses for its washed product range is sourced from clean spring water to ensure no outside chemicals or agents get contaminated with the mix.
